Tree of Transient Worlds
The weaving roots from that great Tree had spread themselves far along the ground, straining in each cardinal direction so that no step remained unmolested by their creeping expanse. Every crack and crevice had been conquered by the Tree; sprawling, entangling, strangling… every surface belonged to its thorny embrace.
And she was an intruder.
